From the daily reading on 10 Feb, 24:
33 Jeroboam did not give up his evil ways after this,
but again made priests for the high places
from among the common people.
Whoever desired it was consecrated
and became a priest of the high places.
34 This was a sin on the part of the house of Jeroboam
for which it was to be cut off and destroyed from the earth.
1Kings 13:33-34
Dictator Pope plans using “synod” as cover….
Step:
We only need look to what happened in the Anglican Church or the Boy Scouts, to know what step 3 is.
All of this is a little like the designers of the Titanic saying “Naw.. It’ll be fine.” when asked if the ship is going to sink. And then getting a focus group together in the 1st class lounge to discuss what can be done to prevent icebergs in the future.
We all know how the story will turn out. It will be fine, but not for them.
So, she believes in women’s feelings … charming.
For what it’s worth, she’s right. It is possible for women to be priestesses if they feel called to it, just not a priestess of the God or Abraham, Isaac or Jacob, not a priestess in service of our High Priest Jesus and not a priestess in the line of Melchizedek.
Pachamama maybe? Gaia?
Why is it that these priestess womyn always look so awefully ugly?
You can’t baptize a rock. A healthy person, totally healthy, cannot receive the Sacrament of the Sick. Two men or two women cannot receive the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. And even if the ritual was carried out to the letter, by a bishop, with all the vows and anointings, a woman would not receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders. This is a biblical Command Of The Lord, that only men can be ordained. .Jesus did not give his Church the power to ordain a female. When an ordained man acts In Persona Christi as head of the chruch [and only those who are ordained to the ministerial priesthood can] he acts in the person of Christ and he is not simply a functionary who says words and does gestures that any human being can do. The “Person” of Christ is the entire person, the ensouled body, the embodied soul, and no woman has a male body as He did and as He does, at this moment. Jesus Christ Our Lord is not now simply a spirit. . When the ordained priest says This Is My Body, it IS a male body, the body of Jesus. Not a symbol, not a representation, not a sign, a real human male body, and aftet the consecration this male body is right there on the altar. It cannot and does not have, e.g., a uterus. It cannot and does not have female gentitalia. Jeus’s body is NOT a female body.
Any woman who says she has a divine call to be ordained a catholic priest is either mistaken, mad, or lying.

Ordain all the women on the planet. You will have zero priests.
No GOOD Catholic woman will EVER be called to the priesthood. EVER. Period. Go ask any’good Catholic woman.
LQC, a kinder description than ugly would be plain or dowdy and it’s apt.
. The Episcopalian churches in my neck of the woods seem to have only senior priestesses. At funerals that I have attended in those churches it irritates me when the priestess goes to the pulpit and deepens her voice to sound like a male.
CAM, I like to think that the reason that these pseudo priestesses try to make themselves look and sound male, and indist on wearing full Roman collar and back cassock whilst their fellow -traveller priests dress in jeans and T shirts, and insist on calling themselves by the oxymoron “women priests” instead of priestesses, is that they are consciously or unconsciously admitting that the Christian priesthood is by definition male.
