Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

Hmmm- interesting. Would love to be a fly on the wall.
The pope has talked of making a trip to Argentina in the latter half of this year. We’ll see if that pans out. Even if it does, why wait over a decade?

“Even if it does, why wait over a decade?”
Statute of limitations? 😀
Gifts and jokes…
Things are so bad I have to wonder if that means Milei laughed at Frances and Frances gave some “gifts” to encourage Milei to go easy on any wayward churchmen in Argentina…
CAG:
Enemies who had real charges would hardly wait ten years in this day and age. I think what he fears is a lackluster reception which would immediately contrast with the joy with which JPII was received in Poland.
For Javier Milei, Pope Francis used to be “the devil’s man on Earth.” But now, after an encounter at the Vatican, the president praises the pontiff as “the most important” Argentine. From Bloomberg News.
Important is a tricky word.
Important is not a synonym for good.
