PopeWartch: Rupnik Again

If you are on team Francis, PopeWatch doubts if the Pope would care if you raped a nun on the altar.  Francis would be a bad man no matter what title he holds.  What can we say about the Bishops and Cardinals that completely ignore this?  We can say that they learned nothing from the various predator clergy scandals, and that their protestations to the contrary are transparent lies.

A popular theological insight among these “faithful” seems a little bit off….a threesome because of the Trinity.

At least my sexual dysfunction was limited to paying an honest fee to a prostitute for honest work. And there were no three-somes, no sadism, no masochism. One prostitute described me as boringly normal good guy.

How the frack can the Pope just ignore such evil as Rupnik? And not only ignore, but rehabilitate reputation and elevate back to clerical office?

LQC.

Forgive me if your question was rhetorically asked.. And not only ignore, but rehabilitate reputation and elevate back to clerical office?

I’ve been thinking about God’s work, especially his power to forgive. Let’s just say that Rupnik did receive absolution and made great strides for Christ. It’s still very questionable about the prudence of the powers that be to reinstate him given the nature of the “alleged” abuses.
Especially in wake of the pedophilia and other sex abuses of the clergy scandal.

Where are the investigations at this point?

“How the frack can the Pope just ignore such evil as Rupnik? “
There’s a Peronist dictator aspect here of hiring compromised loyalists, but aside fromthat there are:
1. Bishops grooming and sexualizing.
2. Priests likewise compromised are promoted.
3. Conscience’s are deadened.
4. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) assures that the compromised bishop does not take action against his compromised associate.

Many wicked and/or demonic things are allowed and/or promoted by the false church in power in the Vatican.

While protecting abusers and embezzelers, many of our traditional/conservative priests and bishops are being laicized or punished for supporting the true faith. The Vatican pretense is disobedience to their superiors. The truth is these cancelled priests will not be a party to heresy and cover ups. Others are waiting out Pope Francis the Destroyer in silence while praying for a pontiff with intergrity and love of the Catholic Faith and Church.

St. John Paul II said one crime and the priest is out.
Bishop Sheen in charge of abusive priests never ever returned an abusive priest to ministry.
Pope Francis; neglect of the laity is criminal.

Not only was he sexually perverted but he took pleasure in being cruel. A nasty and rotten individual. Surely his spiritual life was just as rotten ;so who gave him authority to be a spiritual advisor to nuns…

One thing I find strange about the cover up is that being this occurred around the 1960’s and the height of the sexual revolution, feminism, I’m surprised this did not filtrate into the religious communities and the Sisters felt they could not speak up. The Church was “modernising” but yet Rupniks behaviour was tolerated and the Sisters felt intimidated. Just odd considering the decades these occurred in. There must have been something not quite right about the set up of these specific religious communities from the inside, and by those who managed them to allow someone like Rupnik the arrogance to behave this way and not be reprimanded or stopped.

Rupnik and other members of the popular crowd always tell their victims that no one will believe them and that they’ll get off Scott free.

Seeing as Rupnik has gotten off Scott free, it’s a perennially convincing argument.

Of course, the reason for opposing evil is because it is evil. The success lies in God’s hands.

That said, I am as much of a coward as most in the face of ruining myself by opposing evil. By God’s grace one day I shall improve.

There are a series of church bulletin articles by Fr. Edwin Palka, of the Ephiphany of our Lord Catholic Church in Tampa, Florida about why good priests don’t turn in bad priests One of the articles is:

*
He said that the active homosexual clergy can engage in entrapment to neutralize the faithful clergy. Some of it involves the use of the confessional. There are more articles on this topic in the August 2018 archive.
