Although there are some few Jesuits, mostly older, who are deeply bound by their commitment to their calling and to their vows, men mostly in high school, hospital chaplaincy and parish work, who feel they cannot abandon the people they pastorally care for… Even though every day they are faced with the absolutely mindbending Pope Frank contradiction.
Were they to speak out against Frank, they would be immediately suspended from their priestly office and whisked away to a “retirement” facility. Or as they call it, “burial above ground.”
