Who is the WORD?
What is TRUTH?
They are the Son of God.
Again……
The Son of God.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Buddha isn’t worthy to kiss the feet of the Son of God. How repulsive to put Buddha on the same level as Our Lord Jesus Christ. And by the Vatican!

Buddha sat under a tree, became large, and gained enlightenment to the point where ceasing to exist became the ultimate goal. Where’s the love in that?

Jesus was born in an animal barn, worked as a simple carpenter with his humble father and preached until he became the enemy of the State, was falsely accused, tortured, mocked and ridiculed. Then nailed to a cross and killed. He became the centre of the history of mankind.

Again, Buddha is not worthy to kiss the feet of the Son of God.

A buddhist walks up to a hot dog vender.
The vender asks “What can I get you?”
The buddhist replies “Make me one with everything”

The buddhist aspires to be one with creation. The Christian aspires to be one with their creator. The two belief systems are diametrically opposed.

The thought of all the souls being led away from the path of salvation by this man and his sycophants is enough to bring tears to the eyes.

The fact that none of us are on Francis’s list of “people worth meeting with” is more of a compliment each day 😂

When ecumenism became whateverism, it ceased to have positive value. Contrary to wise keychains everywhere, it is not “all good”

I’m just happy I’m not the person who had to spell-check Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University.

One of the more obnoxious things about ecumaniacalism is how intellectually unserious it is and how utterly contemptuous it is of both its own claims and those of its “dialogue” partners in how it flattens out all propositions and beliefs into some utterly banal, shallow and nonsensical gnostic nominalism.

Jesus didn’t simply “propose” love as a medicine for the darkness of human hearts, but was himself a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of the world. It is only by means of the charity that God sheds abroad in our hearts through the Holy Ghost that we can love God as he has loved us and love our neighbor as we love ourselves. On what level, then, do Jesus and Buddha propose love and compassion in any similar way? Does Buddha understand man as created in God’s image and the Incarnation as God’s remedy for sin and means by which man is remade into his likeness so as to attain the Beatific vision and union with him forever? Because that’s (among other things) what a Christian vision of “love” entails.

If you try and make the Christian vision of love into something that doesn’t have the Incarnation or the Cross, then you are simply not talking about “love” in the same way and thus these types of statements are devoid of any meaningful content, which depressingly seems to be the point.
