Since there hasn’t been a secular decline in the employment-to-population ratio, the ‘increasingly disconnected from the economy’ part is a fantasy. Admonitions to attend to ‘social relations’ can be offered via Twitter, but such a conduit does rob the admonition of a certain amount of rhetorical punch.
You realize that by ‘the far right’ he means anyone not on board with the Democratic Party’s various projects. Given that the objects of the Democratic Party are vicious, criminal, parasitic, or some combination of these, that’s pretty amusing.
Gee his self-importance meter is through the roof.
