Yup, the story is there’s an intention to synodalize the conclave … Nothing to worry about though, it’s not like a synod could ever be rigged with a pre-determined outcome.
I knew the reports of rigging the conclave were true when the first report I saw on the story was from the National “catholic” Reporter saying it wasn’t true.
They will trip over there own feet.
But why put the fix in on the next conclave? After all, haven’t we been told for the last ten years by the Francis apologists that we need to shut up with criticizing the man because he was handpicked by the Holy Spirit?
So if the Holy Spirit handpicked Francis in the last conclave, why change the process if it works? Do these new changes somehow jam even more of the Holy Spirit into the decision-making?
Or does it tell us that Francis & co. aren’t quite as serene in their faith in their “god of surprises” as they insist they are?
I would note that conclaves in the past have occasionally gone off in a different direction from that planned by the papabilla. Also happens when the bait is too big to be swallowed by the fish.
