A true story from Not The Bee and go here to read about it. PopeWatch cannot fault the Pope for this, although the idea does seem to be from the eighties. Encouraging young people to enter the trades might be a better course for many of them. Perhaps the Pope should consult with Sister Calamus who knows her way around a computer.

Why does it look more like they’re centered around a ouija board?
In a functional church, the ordained would be running the synods and the laity would be helping the poor develop work skills. The pope would be promoting liturgy, the bishops would be disciplining the priests, and no one would be anxious checking in on the religious news. Sometimes I’m convinced that all the moral, theological, etc. confusion of the past 100 years is minor compared to the ecclesiological.
