Was that prudent? The victims pulling out all together might send a signal that they have a weak position. Then then Vatican assumes that Fr. Rupnik’s victims claims are not important enough to voice them when invited?

I’m not the brightest candle in the box so forgive me if I’m missing something here. It would seem counterproductive to pull out of a meeting this important. The stated objectives in the letter must of bluntly said that they do NOT want to hear about his abuses to the women in any detail whatsoever. (?). Is that assumption correct?

Appalling – subjecting those poor women to further humiliation, if it wasn’t enough they have been ignored for decades. Good for them for not pandering to the Commissions hollow request.
