Social media has been a disaster for clerics. It reveals to a broad audience how ill informed many of them are and how they merely parrot bromides which are worse than useless. Saint Paul must be appalled..

So many cries by our clergy for peace. I have not seen one for conversion to Christ.
I thought lefties always say “no justice no peace”
I think Israel is doing this clumsily, but let Israel do Israel.
What country in the world would unilaterally declare peace if hangliding fanatics arrived to torture and kill?
Not even Vatican City.
Lesson should have been learned long ago. Early Church leaders also called for peace but got almost three centuries of persecution. It took a Western Emperor with ambitions of order to solve the problem at the Milvian Bridge. Constantine was baptized on his deathbed.
So ignorant- I am embarrassed for him.
Many of the clergy are clueless about finance or the way federal and state governments work in the US. The US bishops lack of cojones was demonstrated by how easily most of them folded on church closings during COVID 19. Then they wonder why Mass attendance is way down and why collection monies are low ignoring the fact of inflation.. The Bishop Lenten Appeal Campaign in many dioceses is way down in participation and donation amounts. People don’t have the cash or don’t like the way dioceses spend money. Ditto Peters Pence and the Campaign for Human Development.
