The US, in much better days than these, used to condemn countries where the courts were tools of the ruling regime to be wielded against political dissidents. The idea that the Proud Boys were the ringleaders for the Capitol Hill riot is too stupid for words, but not so stupid that judges will not impose savage sentences against this group of cos playing morons, who were riddled with FBI informants.. The true ring leaders of the Capitol Hill riot were Pelosi and Mayor Muriel Bowser who rejected all efforts to enhance security prior to the J6 rally.
And Trump walked right into Bowser and Pelosi’s trap.
In the times approaching those who support the the anti-christ will receive what they unjustly deal out to their neighbors.

Judge Tim Kelly, a Trump appointee.
Judge Kelly must have been recommended by Barr or Graham.
As one pundit has often pointed out, appointments to the federal bench are so numerous and mixed with so many other executive responsibilities, the President can’t vet them as he might like to.
That said, perhaps more vetting should be done in the DC circuit appointments since that’s where a disproportionate number of cases are decided since the government meets there.
A bad federal judge is a problem anywhere but more so there than in say Billings Montana…
My guess would be that Grassley was his patron.
