Lately I have been requesting the assistance of Saint Jude with God in regard to a special intention of mine. I will say nothing about the special intention other than to note it is not heath related. Any prayers you wish to send up in regard to this special intention would be greatly appreciated. If you also have need of the intercession of the Saint of lost causes, and the impossible, add your petition in the combox. Whatever besets us in this Vale of Tears we are never alone.
(Side note. My Bride and I by happenstance were on the street in Chicago when the film crew for The Untouchables (1987) were filming the liquor raid scene in 86. Hard to believe that is 37 years in the rear view mirror.)

You have always had my back when prayers were requested from me…and I thank you. We’ve been swamped as of recent. Michael passed away at 4:10am yesterday morning. My brother in law. He’s fight with cancer is over.
