As it is, the Pope’s China action merely reflects his general disdain for faithful Catholics and his ceaseless work to weaken and betray the Faith he is supposed to defend.

The Vatican diplomatic corps used to be regarded as one of the best in the world largely because of competence at the top. It was listened to, if not agreed to in all instances, and its influence respected. Those days appeared to be in the past.
