PopeWatch: Where Peter Ain’t
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 41 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
“Pope Francis Catholics” is an oxymoron.
Scratch a Leftist and you will always find a communist. Totalitarianism. Jesus is freedom to do as we ought.
Totalitarianism tries to obliterate God. God is Infinite Truth. Man is finite truth. Without Infinite Truth man is a failure.

it should not be ignored in analyzing the synod on synods that a vast, very vast, majority of catholics participated by not participating. they were invited to participate. they ignored the invitation. this, even more so than the words and participation of those who chose to participate, is as much the involvement of the Holy Spirit as will be the final document issued.
if the fact that the vast majority of catholics chose not to participate is not analyzed as extremely meaningful and acknowledged as extraordinarily important and significant, the final document will be flawed to the point of meaninglessness.
