Root cause of child death in America is the Democratic Party, through:
– abortion.
– loss of the natural family, boys without fathers.
– terrible public schools where the enterprising join gangs and kill each other.
– up is down, down is up, male is female, female is male, and the fringes turn murderer.
There is no such thing as ‘gun violence’. Guns are inanimate objects. There is violence by people using guns as tools, but even if you call that ‘gun violence’, the statement is still false.
The leading cause of death for the following age segments in 2015 was as noted:
1-4: unintentional injuries, 31% of the total.
5-9: unintentional injuries, 31.4% of the total
10-14: unintentional injuries, 25.4% of the total.
15-19: unintentional injuries, 38.4% of the total.
Note, motor vehicle accidents and poisoning account for all but an odd minority of unintentional injuries. The sort of events where the use of a gun is most likely would be assaults and suicide. The shares attributable to assault or suicide in these four segments are 7.5%, 11%, 27.8%, and 35.8%, and all kinds of implements are used in such circumstances, not just guns.
Sorry but even if you were as left as they come and wanted to ignore the reality of how many abortions are performed every year, death by guns could not possibly be the no. 1 cause of death of children in the US. That’s like saying knives are the no. 1 cause of death of children or any other item which could cause death. Such exaggerated dishonesty
Death by illness, or road accidents would be right up there. As a matter of logic.
What she really means is:
“I will be voting for the party that loves convenient, defect free, planned, state raised, post born children more than it loves guns.

Still awaiting a wave of cognitive dissonance to overwhelm people who say such absurd things as “Democrats love children” while supporting abortion on demand with no restrictions. It has to happen sooner or later. Doesn’t it?
The response that pointed out this was only true if you didn’t count those under…. it was either six or ten… but did count 20 and under as “children,” kinda stung, too.
