So called “same sex” marriage was not and is not a grass roots effort, but a push from the top down. “Equality” in marriage by redefining marriage was never the goal. Nor was “tolerance”. The actual goal was to deconstruct all normalcy. People are beginning to see that. Especially parents whose children are targeted for grooming. And black Americans who are forced to swallow LGBTQ+ Pride as part of racial issues.
It’s a terrible terrible shame Catholic Bishops are not forthright in Standing and Preaching the Truth of Human Sexuality. Good article today in https://www.thecatholicthing.org titled “The Tragic Folly of Avoidance”. That is what most Bishops are (not) doing.

IMO, what you see here are attitudes which have been prevalent on campus for a generation. (Alan Charles Kors has offered that in his time in academe, students and faculty were most at liberty around 1974). The thing is, professors are commonly more elliptical than are politicians and ‘activists’ (if not more decietful), so better at concealing and tarting up what they’re doing.
If you’re of an age and type to recall the Bork hearings, you’ll recall he was grilled on a 1971 law review article he’d written on the extent of free speech and the extent of 1st Amendment protections. (Garry Wills, of course, mocked Bork’s stated view). Bork’s view was that it was advisable to search for a bright line which distinguished discussion of matters of controversy in public life from ‘nude dancing at the Kitty Kat Lounge’. Note, all the attacks on free speech are meant to restrict discussion of the sort of matter which Bork thought merited protection in law and / or in social practice.

The Holy Catholic Church is the Mystical Body of Christ. All men are welcome to join as converts. Sodomites, adulterers, serial killers, agnostics and atheists can belong as converts to Catholicism. Recalcitrant sodomites, adulterers, serial killers, agnostics and atheists cannot belong since they are not inspired by the Holy Spirit of Love between God the Father and God the Son.

Public servants, those individuals who serve the public in government must be decent as their constituents are decent. Indecent constituents are not in the public realm for they forfeit their citizenship by rejecting “the protection of divine Providence” as called for in our Declaration of Independence.
Citizens who reject our Founding Principles and tyranize our decent citizens with evil ideology, abort our Constitutional “Posterity” (Preamble) and do so with impunity and contempt for decency are persona non-grata.
Jesus Christ said: “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” If we live the Love Who proceeds from God the Father and God the Son, we will be living in heaven now and forever more.
