Well done, Donald.
I have to agree. Beams have a way of obscuring the vision.
I haven’t heard the name of the Texas mall shooter, but I did hear a report that the police had questioned his family with an interpreter.
“Texas shines at killing people”
I beleive what the Archbishop is referring to is capital punishment. Texas is a staunch supporter of capital punishment. Now the Texas shooter will probably be executed at capital punishment. Archbishops do not act as executioners.
Self-defense is a natural human right not endowed by the state but by “their Creator” at the creation of the sovereign person.
Because man is created with free will and granted freedom by “their Creator”, man has the capacity of consent, informed consent to institute government and choose between right and wrong; good and evil.
Man is thereby responsible for his choices.
The killer of homicide in the first degree, murder in stealth as a citizen of the state brings himself to Justice. The executioner of capital punishment exercises the power of attorney of the condemned. The murderer is brought to Justice by his own power of attorney which cannot be denied to him as the condemned murderer of homicide in the first degree is a sovereign person.
I am told that the victims probably owed the cartel money.
Did not see a word in the Arcb. comments about the victims.
Exactly, DL. No exhortation for prayers for the deceased, wounded and their families. Understand there was a lone officer who was heroic.
” stop helping people to live” what’s that mean?
From local news outlets, which are less politically poisoned than the networks, it appears the shooter was a Mexican national, resident in Dallas, of “uncertain” immigration status (LOL) with a known gang tattoo on the back of his hand. Law enforcement believes the particular gang involved is in the meth business. Allen PD and Texas DPS are keeping mum on most details for now. Pretty obviously not your run of the mill drug dealer gang war sort of thing, as far as I know. For what it’s worth, some keyboard warriors are claiming the now viral video, which I have not and will not watch, shows the perp, prior to opening fire, shouting something about “justice” for someone or some thing unspecified. In other news, Governor Gavin “Lock ’em Down” Newsom says these things wouldn’t happen if Texas spent more money on “mental health.” Not making that up. Apologies if I am behind the news cycle, I was power washing our patio. Amazing how much dirt and stuff attaches itself to an outdoor surface in just a few short years. 😉
By some accounts, his name was Mauricio Martinez Garcia, he was 33 years old, and he lived in Dallas.
But Archbishop Gustavo is happy to hold the office of Archbishop of San Antonio Texas with all its perks and benefits. Looked after very well, I imagine, by the archdiocese in Texas. He is welcome to move back to Mexico if the grass is greener.
