PopeWatch: Mickey Mouse Pope
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 41 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
No surprise here.
“I don’t have the right to cast anyone out from the church,” said the pope.”
Back to the Italian mafia that were excommunicated, it had to be just more than mafia – infringing on someone else’s territory.
Modernist apostate. Material heretic. Quite possibly elected illicitly. As our host has noted often, great job, conclave of 2013. You had only one job and you blew it. How many souls lost as a result? Someone will answer for them.
He is just embarrassing himself. He probably doesn’t know what tinder is- why is he commenting on things he has limited knowledge about… And saying that he, the Pope, has no right to cast anyone from the Church is a failure on his part as the Head of the Church. He cannot welcome everyone into the Church if a person is not willing to follow Catholic Teaching. And not questioning a woman about her abortion is dangerous advice. You heal when you talk about things. Otherwise it remains a burden. Especially for women and especially when it comes to abortion.
The abuse of the 11 yo does not help the Church one bit. I pray the abuse issue stops.
Notice how there was no mention of Jesus or Mary or Catholic Theology. Just politicised “issues”.

I can picture the right intent here, and maybe each decision being reasonable, but the overall effect is pretty bad, and an article about it makes it look even worse.
Conceivably, he thought that Tinder is TikTok. Not that that’s a good thing, either, but it’s bad in a different order.
I’m sure he doesn’t know that Tinder is mainly a hookup app. I hope very few Vatican officials know that!
[…] ANY ONE SURPRISED THAT THE POPE HAS BEEN WORKING WITH THE HOUSE OF MOUSE? […]
Tinder might have been some help getting his present job. It wasn’t on merit.
Wouldn’t it be great if the Pope refrained from commenting on things he was ignorant about? 🙂
“Wouldn’t it be great if the Pope refrained from commenting on things he was ignorant about? 🙂“
That would mean he wouldn’t say anything at all. At this point, that’s more than alright with me.
