I wonder if Bragg even knew about this case, as he likely has peppered the staff with orders and memos about how they are to proceed in their continuation of the undoing of all the good Rudy Giuliani’s policies accomplished. One part of me recoils in horror at what is happening to NYC and to the innocents like this garage attendant. The other, less Christian, part of me says “You voted for him, now get what you wanted, good and hard, and deal with it.” Maybe Mr. Bragg shouldn’t have been in such a hurry to make himself the center of attention. Time will tell.
Anyone still residing in New York only has themself to blame. All of my ancestors left everything behind in order to escape oppression and injustice. My German ancestors escaped Bismark’s Catholic persecution, and my Polish ancestors escaped Russian conscription (my Grandfather) and persecution. I am grateful, every single day, that they did. There are much better (red) states where good people can still live in relative freedom, here in the formerly United States of America. May God continue to bless the USA.
Father of Seven…that is exactly my story. My mother’s German ancestors fled the Kulturkampf and my great grandfather decided he had had enough of Russians.
He garage attendant did not shoot a theif. The garage attendant shot a murderer. Self-defense against attempted murder. Ideology that replaces Justice is criminal treason.
Self-defense is a natural human right not endowed by the state but by “their Creator” at the creation of the sovereign person.
The newly begotten legally and morally innocent sovereign person is the standard of Justice for all peoples.
The state, the community, the ideology does not grant self-defense. “their Creator” endows self-defense in the form of personal space. The sovereign person’s personal space may not be denied as does abortion, abrogated as does crime nor abridged by corrupt justice.
Personal space may only be entered into with the informed consent of the sovereign person. Violating the personal space of the sovereign person without his or her informed consent is assault. Touching a sovereign person without their informed consent is battery.
Assault and battery is uncivilized and used by murderers, theives, vandals, invaders and every known kind of criminal.
To understand America return to and embrace our Founding Principles: The Declaration of Independence and The Cnstitution for the United States of America.
(It is my prayer that the garage attendant sues for false arrest and injuries sustained while defending reality. Amen)
