Thought For the Day

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

Every relationship I ever had with a woman seemed to be one long strategy game. Hence, my lifelong bachelorhood.
A match made in heaven! 😀
I mean good for Don, but rather his wife is the exception that proves the rule?
I mean girls are always welcome at our boars game nights but I do notice they tend towards the social games (like Avalon) or co opts, less towards the cut throat competitive ones.
May explain why so many girls are taking to Magic’s Commander format. It’s competitive, but there’s still a big social element to the format.
*board games night.
Though a night of games with boars is probably an accurate description of us players. LoL
The only game I have played since 1987 is Doom/Doom 2. I found it therapeutic when I was underemployed.
