If I were running a blatant grift of an administration like this one, I’d probably float the occasional obvious lie like this just to test the loyalty of my lickspittle media. Will they call me out or will they look the other way?
The mainstream media in this country continues to stay bought, sadly. Perhaps this is a trial balloon sent up because there’ll be a more important story coming up, one this administration wants ‘covered’ by a media it can be sure of?
