I always love the outrage of the Left when one of their pet causes isn’t treated with the over the top positive propaganda they demand from their media outlets.
I’ve swept up dust bunnies that had more sense.
Art, did Sam sign that? I didn’t see his name on the list. I saw Rochas and Sams but no Sam Rochas.
Don’t think so. He cagier than that. I only recognized a few names. One is the 68 year old Luc Sante, a magazine writer with an eccentric oeuvre. He’s now damaging his elderly body with these hormone treatments. Another name I recognized was Alex Pareene, a rather pervy guy who used to work for David Frum.
There was a followup.

Nate, I read that thread. I notice Sam does that sometimes. Rightwing politics is street jargon, not careful political commentary. He will sometimes do that, post something in the basic ‘street level brawl’ sort of political sniping. But when people respond, he will then get all prim and proper, begin quoting authors, citing sources, and acting as if he would have the conversation remain on an academic level. An exclusive dialogue for those schooled in the subjects at hand as he is. That sort of thing always irks me. If you want to play in the street, stay in the street.
