Bill Gates has a god complex & is downright dangerous to humanity.
Using the logic of the Left, Gates’ statement is a terrorist threat.
He can go first. With the roofies and the vaccines.
I don’t know how many folks here watch or would appreciate Bret Weinstein and his wife Heather Heying, but they have a podcast (now demonitized on Youtube) and they discuss vaccines in the food supply. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Of5LMNdLA8c
DJH.
Good link.
So…if I’m following the ball under the cup game, Non-Gmo is not altogether true via vaccines for cattle that contain synthetics. …but they are still under the guise of being Non-GMO?
Double speak in action.
No Sue, your not fully pregnant, just slightly pregnant. hence the two pill’s that we’ve prescribed will clear the matter up. Oh…and don’t look into your toilet after you have a very small, painless episode of cramps…okay sweetie.
Bill Gates is as evil as they come.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Gotham has plenty of villains these days.
But… vaccines in the food supply wouldn’t even DO anything. Getting through your digestive system is a bit of a problem for diseases, why do you think needles are used NOW to give people vaccines instead of having them swallow a pill?
WTF has happened these last few years? I feel like I’m watching massive, widespread brain rot!
Bill Gates has become a wealthy and powerful man by owning a monopoly of lousy software. Teddy Roosevelt would have busted up Microsoft but the cowards infesting Washington care not.
Seeing as how Gates spent a lot of quality time on Epstein Island, I don’t think he has any problem with the latter.
BTW, didn’t Paul Ehrlich suggest something similar about chemical contraceptives years ago? Vile minds think alike.
Bill Gates has become a wealthy and powerful man by owning a monopoly of lousy software.
If it was that lousy, Microsoft would have been displaced by its competitors. You’ve forgotten that Macs were down to a 7% market share by 1996.
I wonder if his divorce has left him seriously disoriented.
Gates has been a population controller, heavy emphasis on “controller” for years. Well before his marriage fell apart.
Contraceptives being passed via urine are polluting our ground water supply. Now, we have vaccines ? Fluoride added to our drinking water. Fluoride is used to etch glass. Painted on our teeth, fluoride makes the enamil stronger. Ingested Fluoride causes bone rot. Osteoporosis. Left on the skin, flouride feels like water. Fluoride sinks into the bones and causes gangrene. Teratogen anyone?
It is really past time our government stopped being stupid.
Mary:
The chemist here would like to point out that there is fluoride naturally present in many water supplies. The compound hydrogen fluoride is used to etch glass, not fluoride ion (itself rather basic). If fluoride compounds are used to paint teeth, the patient inevitably ingests more than he’d get in drinking water. Not sure where your getting the bone rot and gangrene stuff from. I get why people don’t want stuff in their water they don’t understand, but don’t defend your choice with bad science, please.
Your point about contraceptives, on the other hand, brings up a genuine scandal, for we’ve known about that for years, but their effects are passed over in silence or attributed to compounds in herbicides and insecticides.
If it was that lousy, Microsoft would have been displaced by its competitors.
Just like Pepsi or Islam …
C’mon Art, lousy and cheap wins all the time … Especially when it’s a virtual monopoly.
You’ve forgotten that Macs were down to a 7% market share by 1996.
“Expensive and proprietary” cost Apple market share, not quality. Truth be told, lowering the quality of their product (post/pre Jobs) was what caused their near collapse during the timeframe you mention.
One of the things that made me realize how much media control Bill Gates has is the fact that while his supervillain-style antics have only increased since the 90’s, his public image somehow improved.

Thank you. Tom

There are no virtual monopolies in software or hardware.
if Mac OS or Windows was truly a monopoly, there would be no open source, Linux, BDS, Solaris, etc. I’ve installed Linux on an old PC…it works fine, fast, better than my elderly mac mini did.
There are no virtual monopolies in software or hardware.
This statement is demonstrably false. (This reply was typed using a very old copy of Word Perfect and rendered using the Microstation software suite, both being government subsidized software platforms kept on life support in order to maintain the appearance of non-monopolistic competition in the marketplace. Note: the government has since pulled the plug on Word Perfect and have embraced Microsoft Word )
if Mac OS or Windows was truly a monopoly, there would be no open source
Open Office is a fine alternative to the Microsoft Office behemoth as well. We might be looking at a chicken-egg scenario here, but it seems to me that the open source movement came into being precisely as a reaction to quasi-monopolistic trends in the industry.
Microsoft has a very bad corporate history. It lost its anti-trust case. The breakup penalties were overturned on appeal but the findings of fact were not overturned. Interestingly enough, one of the subjects of the lawsuit, the Internet Explorer web browser, has had so many ongoing security issues that Microsoft had to replace it with the Edge web browser. Windows 10 has had a very bad track record of botched updates that caused serious problems for the users. Many people don’t like all the phone home data that Windows 11 sends back to Microsoft. Microsoft has been known for two tactics; FUD – fear, uncertainty, and doubt, and Embrace, extend, and extinguish where standards were given proprietary extensions to disadvantage competitors.

For those who are interested, there is an old web site Groklaw that covered the legal side of free and open source software. It was started by a paralegal Pamela Jones. There techies and lawyers could meet to learn from each other. There were serious attempts to legally damage open source software. Groklaw was a very valuable resource in helping to counter these legal threats. Pamela Jones eventually had to stop doing Groklaw because of privacy concerns over surveillance of private email communications. In her final posting on Groklaw she goes into these concerns. These concerns are still with us. There have been times when the website has been unavailable, but it is currently online.
This statement is demonstrably false.
Yes, if you define ‘monopoly’ whimsically, it is false.
Give me back my C prompt!
Yes, if you define ‘monopoly’ whimsically, it is false.
Actually, the phrase was virtual monopoly, and yes, I agree you and I are probably proceeding with differing understandings of that ill-defined phrase.
