Don’t underestimate how much work he has done for this cause as well. It wouldn’t surprise me if sanity won the day at Oxford because James laid out the ugly truth of the woke side for all to see.

The problem is, rational argument doesn’t seem to be sufficient. If it were, then how could the wokeists (presumably intelligent) have got to their state?
His speech was very good, but won’t be much effective. The “woke” are all about emotion. Even a lot of non-woke people. I have a non-woke friend, and she too is completely dominated by emotion. It is hysterical (not really) to hear her complain about this or that policy promoted by the Democrats…and she goes ahead and votes Democrat anyway. Why? Because they are nicer, and would take care of people. And she wants to vote in solidarity with her mother.

In this Vale of Tears there are always buyers for bad ideas and often intelligence has little to do with it, with emotion, self interest and prejudice being much more important.
