Same thing happened last year to an Australian Rugby League Club- Manly Sea Eagles- when their faceless CEO decided that on Round 20 of the Season which was meant to be dedicated to “Women in League” , all players were to wear a rainbow jersey in honour of “equality”. Seven players refused- all are of Pacific Island heritage and devout Christians. Their team mates didn’t support them, including their weasel Team Captain. And the media turned on them….The good news is that Gods justice has its time- the clubs performance plummeted for the rest of the season, the coach got sacked, their star players are always injured and now most of the players don’t even want to stayed signed at the club. Go figure.
