With Joe Biden, who needs The Babylon Bee? With the appointment of an independent prosecutor for DocumentGate, I think we are seeing the beginnings of a move by Democrats to push Biden out of running in 2024. If Biden had classified documents in a box in a garage, rest assured there are probably plenty of others waiting to be discovered. Attention also is beginning to be paid to the fact that the “think tank” where the original cache of classified documents were found, was set up with millions in Chinese donations, and served as a base for Biden and his cronies after he was no longer Veep. There is plenty to discover here. and Biden is going to be suffering from endless leaks by Democrats who fear he is a sure loser in 2024.

I don’t think you are going to locate anyone in the Democratic Party elite who has integrity and fixed standards. It’s the same story in the media and in higher education. You have a scatter of lone wolves trying to build a counter-current. (Glenn Greenwald, Jonathan Turley, &c). Street-level Democrats just pretend it isn’t happening.

AD, I second your reaction to Fof7. I see entirely too much of that rubbish in other comboxes. I usually take it as a warning that that is probably somewhere I should not be spending my time. No fan of Mrs. Obama, but let’s not act like Viewish Democrats about her.

She lasted all of three years in the legal profession. She was employed as an organizational apparatchik in what-do-you-do-all-day positions for 17 years and paid exorbitant sums. Her last position, at the University of Chicago Hospitals, was so crucial it was eliminated when she vacated it. NB, her salary was doubled when her state legislator husband was doubled when her husband was elected to Congress. Prior to that, Obama’s patron in the Illinois legislature had placed him as chairman of a subcommittee concerned with health care legislation.
Mooch is as girly as Nancy Reagan, as much her husband’s accomplice as Lady Bird Johnson, and has a history of over-spending her income that neither of them could match.
Michelle Obama is a grifter of the first order. She wanted in the White House to live a life of luxury. Who really thinks Michelle Obama does laundry, cooks, cleans a bathroom or buys groceries? Ifshe ever did any of that it was more than 20 years ago.
Being President would mean that she would have to put up a facade of working, and that is far too much work for her.
