We all have God sized holes in our souls. If we don’t fill it with God we will try to fill it with something else, much to our life long frustration.
Thought For the Day

That’s John Lennon’s son correct? The same man who sang:
“Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky…”
“Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too”
Yeo. Sean has a well earned reputation of being an independent thinker.
The law of vacuum.
I’m witnessing every day at my workplace. The young women complain of the heartless boyfriend that she’s been shacked up with for a few years. Promiscuity rules and now she’s playing second fiddle.
In gentle terms I try to explain the war of the world’s since she is a fallout from her sophisticated parents who said; We don’t believe that we should burden our children with religion. They should pick their own beliefs when they get older.
We, not the devout Biden Catholics, have much work to do. And it must be done if families are to have a future. Destroy the family…destroy the community and the world.
Communism has an easy foothold and darkness becomes the new light. The “woke” fills that vaccuum left empty by parental misfits who choose bff over parenthood.
Give us Barabbas and kill the Holy one from Nazareth. They make the choice. We pick up the pieces.
“and you are attacked for questioning”. Freedom? Freedom
Faith is a gift from God. Religion is man’s response to the gift of Faith from God. There can be only one Infinite Supreme Sovereign Being. Two preempt each other. leaving mankind with no choice.
Jesus Christ is the revelation of God.
Without God, Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit, man is “Nowhere Man”
One of the defining characteristics of God is that of union. The union of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in one substance, one Godhead. The Bible says that we are made in God’s image and likeness. This being the case it stands to reason that we would have been made for union with God as a primary part of our image and likeness.
“Nowhere Man” is not a bad reflection on the culture of its day. Some men may be gifted with insight into a problem without the same insight towards a solution.
Well said Mary De Voe.
The last line; Making all his nowhere plans for nobody.
Satan is a craftsman of unparalleled ugliness. The craft has been around for centuries and it’s unholy grail is the destruction of men via Sin. How cunningly he uses entertainment and entertainers to entice. Search and devour. His master plan.
Remove God and it’s a slam dunk.
John Lennon- Elton John- Micheal Jackson- and the new superstar’s who cross dress and mutilate their bodies all in the false premise of freedom, since they are only bait for the big catch, and as bait they too will get devoured. Not much freedom in hell.
Nowhere men and women.
Hope and God are void in hell.
Making there nowhere plans for nobody.
I recall that the Virgin Mary was quoted by the Fatima seers as to her explanation of souls and hell. As she showed them hell, in the July 13th 1917 apparition, she said; “Souls are falling into hell like snowflakes.”
Was that in real time?
Was that a future time?
As Satan is having his way in our day, my guess is that it’s a blizzard in the hereafter between the two realities.
Keep up the prayers. That’s a huge part of our responsibility as children of God. Prayers, fasting and penance.
