Back when the gay movement was getting off the ground, the term of art was sexual preference. When it was thought that people would have more sympathy if they thought that gays were born that way, sexual preference became the term. The truth is that gays aren’t born, they are made. Thus all the gay propaganda, the continual effort to make normal people render obeisance to the lust that never shuts up and the never ending attempt to dragoon kids into the gay world. What this guy is doing, if the kids are minors, is a felony under Illinois law.
Revolting. It’s predatory. The teachers arrogance is breath-taking. If the parents don’t take action against him AND the school, then they’re implicit in the situation.
I might only be remembering my part of the world, but it always seemed that the change from ‘who’s to say what’s normal, it’s their preference’ to ‘born that way’ came as a result of the rise of AIDS. I do remember a backlash against the gay movement when AIDS was seen as mostly impacting the gay community. The reason being it isn’t tolerable if it leads people to die. It was then that I recall hearing more and more about ‘born that way.’

The psychologist Paul Vitz noted some years ago that you’re in a field long enough you get to see several waves of intellectual fashion and he’d lived through both an excessive emphasis on environmental influences and an excessive emphasis on biological influences. Since identical twin sets with one twin given to sexual deviance and one not are more common than twin sets where both are deviant, we know that male homosexuals are not born that way even if there are heritable precursors to homosexuality. (I don’t think the agitprop meisters have ever put much effort into promoting the notion that lesbianism is innate; too much back and forth in the lives of actual lesbians to make that credible).
I suspect that part of this is that teacher training programs are in such ruined condition that they are repelling an escalating share of the normal proto-adults who might be interested in teaching. If I’m not mistaken, private schools used to be indifferent to whether or not an applicant had a BEd or MEd degree so were less affected by the faddish tripe to which teacher-training programs are prone. If you follow the Naked Dollar blog, you get the impression that the pricy private academies are if anything in worse shape than the public schools.
Note, the agitprop meisters have been for years peddling the lie that there is no correlation between homosexuality and the sexual violation of adolescents and no correlation between homosexuality and paedophilia.
