PopeWatch: Jesuits-Friends of Francis

There was a very good reason why we had no Jesuit popes before Francis.  We should never have another.

It’s not a certainty that a Jesuit Pope would be a heretical, homosexual-promoting monster, but it made the likelihood more than a mere coincidence.

I thought the Rules of the Jesuit Order prohibited one of them from accepting election as Pope. Perhaps I am wrong, or Rules and Oaths no longer matter.

After election, are the Cardinals free to seek the acceptance of any chosen one , no matter if he be heretical, an apostate, or prohibited from acceptance by vows to his religious order?
