In any conflict the adversary sometimes sets the rules. Complaining about the rules is an exercise in futility. The only effective option is to get better than the adversary at the rules he sets. Republicans in California have set up ballot drop boxes in churches. When the Democrats sued to attempt to stop this, the court dismissed the suit, noting that ballot harvesting was a policy devised and pushed by the Democrats. In any conflict you need to not only fight, but fight smart.
