Paul Pelosi is Having a Bad Year

First his DUI and now he is assaulted by a nut in his house.  The Left is trying to use this politically.  Lot of weird aspects to this case.   This started as a wellness check.  Who called in the wellness check? Stay tuned.

So…how was Paul dressed?

Little sympathy except for the soul of the attacker.

This looks staged. Regardless, Paul Pelosi appeears to the the victim here. The commie nudist who attacked him needs psychological help. I hope the people who staged this get discovered and brought to justice. Not likely, however.

Seen elsewhere this morning.

The stories do not add up.

This is either Jussie Smollett 2.0 or the two are gay lovers and the spat got physical.

Plus, I’m so old I remember when one Pelosi daughter actually said Rand Paul’s neighbor was ‘right’ to assault the Senator.

KARMA?

This is all very very odd.
DePape’s FB page was disabled Friday morn and FB won’t give info?
Evidently he was playing the FB game, towing the line of acceptable content, according to them.
🤔
He attacked once the police arrives.
So very strange.
Yeah, speedy recovery.

Actually, two things stand out to me from this attack.

#1. The attacker was in his underwear. Granted there’s a lot of street loons in San Francisco, but it’s getting chilly this time of year (the overnight low was 48 degrees that morning), and it’s highly unlikely that DuPape launched his “planned attack” after wandering around outside undressed. Paul Pelosi is a known night owl and night adventurer. I think that he invited DuPape home after a nightly bar tour. And things went south.

#2. These houses in the Pacific Heights areas are like fortresses. I happen to be familiar with this area on Broadway (by the way, it’s only a few blocks hundred feet from Feinstein’s place on Lyons St.), having formerly lived for a time in San Francisco and using this as a walking area. Allegedly he gained entrance (one report stated) through a sliding door. There are no easily accessed sliding doors with direct approaches to the streets in these houses: they are behind seriously tall walls and advanced security systems. He didn’t just break his way in. He had to have been let in. In my opinion.

Thanks for the clarification… At first read: “and now he is assaulted by a nut in his house.” I said to myself, “well nancy is a bit off, but a nut?”

There’s an indication that he smashed a back window and opened the adjacent french door. One possibility is that he triggered an alarm sensor and the security company after a 30 second delay called the police. It may be the policy of the department to classify tripped alarms as ‘wellness checks’.

Police forces have a history of being remarkably indulgent with Democratic pols (see Andrew Gillum, let off without charges), so it wouldn’t surprise me if similar vectors were at work here. It is a one-party town and the quality of the local leadership has been going steadily downhill since 1995 or thereabouts.

This DePape fellow strikes me as marginally more coherent than Jared Loughner, so I doubt it can be politically exploited for very long.

I think Steve Phoenix is right. This was a late night or early morning homosexual rendezvous that ended in violence. Nevertheless, I hope Paul Pelosi recovers. But I find both characters -perpetrator and victim – dusgusting.

Here’s a picture of the house. It looks like there’s a walkway to the back.

Can you put up a list of sponsors should we aspire to find out more about some?

At the Pelosi residence, there are magnolia trees over the side driveway/walkway, but some photos further down the driveway appear to indicate a gate and fencing preventing access to the backyard where the sliding door entry supposedly occurred. The side of the residence has a very steep wall (it is a corner lot) on the deeply descending Broadway St. side do the attacker could have scaled that wall.

But the attack occurred at/was apparently reported at roughly 2:35 AM. Bars close in California @ 2AM. Just a coincidence.

Nor am I claiming necessarily it was a homosexual/bisexual hook up, but they could be drinking buddies that couldn’t call it quits at last bar call. I think the likelihood is that DuPape was let in by Paul Pelosi and this will eventually come out.

And, now, always reliable politico .com is reporting this morning that Paul Pelosi asked the alleged attacker if he (Pelosi) could use the restroom, from which he made the quote “wellness call.”

So, if a violent attacker breaks into a building, would such an attacker allow an individual to leave their control and going to a restroom where obviously could lock the door, and possibly escape?

Or did Pelosi try to make the call to the police as a “wellness call,” because he had let into the residence an acquaintance of his, and he wanted to keep it a low profile?

But then DuPape became enraged when he found the police have been called?

This whole thing might well end up outdoing that great movie “Clue,” where the mystery unravels forever and a day.

There is as much transparency here as with Pauli’s DUI. Is the SFPD on the Federal payroll?

Those are not sliding doors out back. They are french doors.

Off to the left in the shot above, you see a brick walkway. From a different angle, you can see that walkway runs along the side of the house to the street:

You can see the garage is on the street front.

The main entrance is on the side, underneath the bay windows and behind the trees. It’s a corner lot, so you can get to the main entrance from that set of steps on the left of the third snapshot in the link above.

SFPD dispatch report transcript by 911 now released says that Pelosi on his phone call said that there is a male in the house and “…His name is David and he is a friend.”

So this is increasingly looking like it was not a case of force entry at all.

The rendering in this recording of police communications is “he says he doesn’t know who the male is, but says his name is ‘David’ and he is a friend”.

Who smashed the glass? I suspect Paul Pelosi did it. I saw a police officer make this observation of the glass, “As a cop for 11 yrs in St. Louis I never once worked a burglary where the broken glass and debris at the entry point was OUTSIDE the residence.” The photo clearly shows the broken glass outside, just to the right of the open French doors.

It doesn’t clearly show that. There appears to be some sort of dust on the bricks. We do not have a clear view of the interior. Did he smash the glass before or after the police arrived? Before or after he was permitted to go to the bathroom? Why smash the glass? Why not say you forgot and left the door unlocked?

It was SF area TV station KTVU-2 that first reported that David DePape was in his underwear: now today 10/30 they are trying to retract that statement. Heavy revision of the story going on as we speak.

It was ABC’s Terry Moran on 10/28 that first asserted the entry was allegedly through “a sliding glass door,” which now instead appears to have been via a set of French doors — but those French doors are situated on semi-circular steps in the rear of the residence facing East, having a view toward the city center, not the quasi bay windows on the driveway/walkway side which faces steeply descending Broadway. (The house actually faces West and fronts on a cul-de-sac called Normandie Terrace.)

@John Kennedy: Besides the observation of the former St. Louis police detective, other hi-def photos (Reddit, NY Post, several others show extremely clear pictures ) apparently taken by a drone clearly show broken glass undeniably on the OUTSIDE of the French doors, on the circular steps in the rear of the house: so someone inside was breaking the glass— to portray a burglary? Which is one of the charges DePape is facing now. So did the situation get out of hand for Paul Pelosi and he decided to set up DePape for a burglary?

The latter info once again gets to the point that this was not a case of forced entry. Were the French doors left unlocked, and DePape simply walked to the back of the house and entered? Was that the arrangement with Paul Pelosi?

@ Ali Huebner: The citation you mention also points out that one of the alleged sources of income for David DePape was that he was allegedly known to be working as a gay prostitute. He has long been known in the Castro district as a Castro Street nude activist, where nude men openly walk around displaying themselves, and usually setting up tricks. So LCQ’s conjecture, unpleasant as it seems (which I was reluctant to assert), appears to be coming into clearer focus.

undeniably on the OUTSIDE of the French doors

It is not undeniable at all. There is some sort of dust on some of the bricks. You cannot see what debris is on the indoors (nor do you know what was swept up before the photo was taken).
