As in most years, the latter half of October is bringing accurate, or at least more accurate, polls. Doctor Oz and Left Wing Lurch now have a tied race with all the momentum to Doctor Oz. A sign of the desperation of Left Wing Lurch’s campaign is that they agreed to appear with Biden yesterday at a campaign event, most Democrat candidates wisely seeking to keep their distance from the dementia patient in the White House. At this campaign event Biden noted that the wife of Left Wing Lurch would be a grand lady in the Senate. Puppet Biden recognizing the puppet mistress of Left Wing Lurch. Left Wing Lurch did not speak at the joint appearance.

If Fetterman wins, and is then deemed unable to serve because of his stroke, they can’t just give his seat to his wife, right? Please tell me it doesn’t work like that?!?

The Governor of the State picks a replacement to serve as Senator until the next general election in November. His wife would not necessarily be the one chosen.

I hadn’t thought of that. Put Gisele in the seat. I have a suspicion that Fetterman can recover if given time; he’s ambulatory, but is missing pieces in processing language. That the sachems in the Pennsylvania Democratic Party (and his wife) did not put their foot down and insist he stand down is a black mark on them.
