It may be accidental, prophetic or demonic (I’m not sure which) that “liturgy” is immediately below “Exclusion” and immediately to the right of “Discrimination” as the current crop of hierarchy is aggressively engaging in both in respect to certain liturgies and those who attend such liturgies.
Of course, “Gospel” is also placed below “LGBTFU Identity,” so now I’m sure.
How dishonest and offensive is this piece of garbage graffiti. The Church has never excluded. It has always welcomed everyone. It’s “Catholic” name is evident of this fact. The Holy Catholic Church is rich in beautifully inspired Art. This graffiti is reminiscent of *iss Crucifix.
When we are called to reach out to the peripheries it is to lovingly instruct and bring the lost sheep back to the fold. Not to lead the 99 into a pack of wolves. What shepherds would do such a thing?
