Vote Democrat: Mortal Sin – Update I

An article published here on August 13, 2022 made the point that part of catholics forming their consciences correctly requires that they learn what democrats of the Party of Death have done, what they are doing, and what they promise they will do. (“Vote Democrat: Mortal Sin”). The article stated this: It is a mortal sin for a catholic with a well-formed conscience to vote for any democrat.

Noting that demons, devils, and democrats never sleep when it comes to planning and doing evil, the article promised an update since, without a doubt, the democrats, etc. were not finished in their evil schemes. In addition to the fourteen items listed in the previous article – reproduced at the end of this article – the democrats of death have now done what is listed here and a catholic desirous of having a well-formed conscience must be aware of these things and take them into account in the upcoming elections. (Please add in comments anything that they have done that has not yet been noted here; or any error in what is listed).

–  Democrat Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra issued a 5-point plan to ensure access to what is called “abortion care.”

• Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren  called for putting pop-up abortion tents in federal parks.

• Democrats have urged democrat President Biden to declare a “public health emergency” to impose radical abortion policies by executive order, bypassing the legislative process.

• In an attempt to subvert federal law and murder more babies,  the democrat  Department of Health and Human Services “announced new guidance and communication” claiming that “federal law preempts state abortion bans when needed for emergency care.” Democrat Secretary Becerra stated: “We are reinforcing that we expect providers to continue offering [abortion] services.”  So far, a federal judge in Texas rejected this attempt to preempt the state’s abortion regulations.

• Democrats have objected to proposed legislation that would protect  babies from elective, late-term abortions and infanticide.

• Democrats are planning to pass a bill nicknamed the “Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act,” which would legally require each state of the union to legalize abortions for any reason for all nine months of pregnancy, force taxpayers to pay for abortions nationwide, allow sex-selection abortions, and eliminate informed consent laws.

• Democrat Biden issued an executive order that tried to insure the ready availability of death-dealing abortion pills.

• An executive order of Democrat  Biden mandated extra security for abortion businesses, but ignored the liberal and left-wing violence aimed at  pregnancy centers, documented violence such as that done by groups like “Jane’s Revenge.”  Democrat  Biden ordered  democrat Attorney General Merrick Garland to take part in an “interagency Task Force on Reproductive Health Care Access.”

• Democrats are attempting to have the United Nations declare that a “right to abortion” is a basic human right under various U.N. declarations and treaties. Democrat  Biden has removed the U.S. from the U.N. Geneva Consensus Declaration on Promoting Women’s Health and Strengthening the Family, an international  pro-life declaration signed by 34 countries. This document urged all nations to:  protect  all human beings; to provide for human rights and health care to all human beings, born and unborn; to provide better health for women; to preserve human life; and to strengthen the of family as the foundational unit of society.

• Democrat Biden has issued an executive memo entitled “Memorandum on Protecting Women’s Health at Home and Abroad.” This reverses the pro-life “Mexico City policy.”  U.S. foreign aid money. i.e. U.S. taxpayer money, may now be used to fund non-governmental organizations that promote and perform abortions.

• Democrats attempted to halt coverage for fertility-awareness based methods (FABM) of family planning from health insurance plans. In November 2021, the democrat Department of Health and Human Services published a draft of regulatory changes directed to what contraceptives should be covered. The stated purpose was to add condoms to covered contraceptives. But, without any reference to what they had done, they omitted the previously-existing coverage for FABM. Although FABM organizations submitted comments opposing the omission, no such comments were made public and the changes took effect in December 2021.  In a Texas-based federal court  ruled that this change could not go into effect since HHS failed to follow the protocols for revising such regulations.

• Democrats are trying to force taxpayers in to fund “abortion travel.” Democrat California Gov. Gavin Newsom has proposed enlarging a multi-million dollar  abortion fund to include money for women to travel to California to murder their babies.

Conclusion

There is no doubt that the democrats of death are not finished. Future updates will report their latest evils.

• Issuing a presidential executive order directing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to explore ways to avoid the Hyde Amendment and use Medicaid dollars to pay for pregnant women in pro-life states to travel to other states for an abortion.
• Voting down, in the Senate, a bill amendment that affirmed that only women can have babies
• Rejecting efforts to expand Medicaid coverage to new mothers
• Continuing and enlarging the scope of their non-border policies – whose main purposes are to create new voters for democrat candidates and to take over now-non-democrat states – that engender, facilitate  and promote human trafficking
• Furthering democrat RETA policy – racial eugenic targeted abortion – in accord with which about half of abortions in the USA were the murders of minority babies, but their mamas account for less than 20% of the entire population; and, due to the astounding number of black babies killed, resulting in black genocide
