Bonkers

Traditionally in this country politics has usually been a straight forward fight for the middle.  Not so in this year.  With their embrace of transgenderism, nine month abortions and other forms of insanity popular with their Left wing, Democrats are increasingly saying to hell with the middle as they pursue a p0licy of ideological purity uber alles.  A bold strategy, albeit an insane one.  This is happening as the Democrats no longer control the Supreme Court and can enact their agenda only by winning elections, a concept increasingly foreign to a party whose advocates have reshaped colleges and universities into indoctrination factories where dissenters are hounded out.  All this is being done at a time when most voters view Democrat stewardship of  the economy as abysmal.  A perfect storm is brewing in our political world.

I think it important to note about Prof. Bridges is that she’s a fine example of the way in which higher education functions as a patronage mill and money laundering enterprise for privileged political interests, and how state legislatures should be acting to place institutions under trusteeships akin to bankruptcy re-organization and closing some. NB, she was awarded a PhD ‘with distinction’ by Columbia University’s anthropology faculty. Her dissertation was derived from her fieldwork. If you think her fieldwork was in some village in Africa or Amazonia, think again. She spent 15 months of ‘participant observation’ in a Manhattan hospital. (If you recall, Columbia University’s art department granted course credits to a young woman named Emma Sulkowicz for toting a mattress around campus for several weeks). Now have a gander at the law review articles and purported teaching specialities of this accoladed ‘law professor’. It would require some work in a university library, but I doubt you could find a data table in any one of them, even though much of her ‘work’ is in the realm of making sociological contentions. The only ‘teaching specialty’ she lists which intersects with mundane law practice is family law. She received her schooling in New York and has held teaching positions in Toronto and in the Bay Area, but she has never been admitted to the Bar in New York or in California. She’s a parody academic, not a real professor.

The above citation is an indication of what society is in for. As this sort of thing becomes more aggressive, and it will, the mushy middle in this country will have to make a decision where they stand. I am not sanguine about the outcome.
