Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
IIRC, he was the supervisor of Krijsten Nielsen’s outer office. He wasn’t a mid-level executive. Over the last 18 years, he’s had a set of short-term positions as long as your arm, bouncing between government posts and temporary gigs in NGOs. He was a congressional aide for about three years; that’s the longest he’s worked anywhere. He has no occupational training of any kind and (AFAICT) all of the government positions he’s held were extensions of secretarial work or in public relations. He’s also unmarried and childless at age 34.
I’m told the Russian’s have a word for a person like him. The word translates as ‘office plankton’.
