PopeWatch: Contempt
Donald R. McClarey

Maybe the Pope is like Bill Clinton. When he got bought off, he stayed bought off.
Cdn Zen has more Faith and courage in his little finger than all the Vaticanistas combined. As far as bribes, yes, simply follow the money and remember, McCarrick was the front man.
While I don’t doubt that the Vatican’s simpering responses to the CCP have engendered contempt on the part of the latter, I also think the regime’s Zero-Covid policy might be a legitimate part of it. Can’t be seen meeting with foreign non-entities when you’re engaged in a brutal lockdown.
Come to think of it, it would be a pity if they weren’t being paid off by the evil CCP. After all, at least Judas got 30 pieces of silver for his betraying Our Lord. The only thing worse than being betrayed is being betrayed on the cheap.
