News that I missed from the Babylon Bee:
CANAAN—In a somber press release outside the burning gates of torment and suffering, the fire god Moloch warned of looming supply chain issues regarding child sacrifices.
Moloch added that human sacrifices, purifications, ordeals by fire, mutilations, etc., would cease until the supply chain shortages were sorted out through democratically violent means.
“My demon logistics department is reporting a supply chain shortage of children to sacrifice upon burning idols and in fiery pits,” said the god of brazen gratification and hedonism. “The scarcity of innocent young lives to be brutally murdered at my feet is mostly due to the US Supreme Court’s upcoming reversal of Roe v. Wade, led by white supremacist Clarence Thomas.”
An uncomfortably large percentage of the US population cried out in fear and terror at the prospects of not being able to sacrifice children of a loving Heavenly Father for their own, selfish desires. Eyes rolled back in their sockets and blood-curdling screams pierced the air in the name of ego maniacal convenience.
“What about my career as a corporate drone who loves binge-drinking on the weekends!” cried one woman at the steps of the Supreme Court building while holding a protest sign reading “My Body, My Choice, My Vanity, My Career, My Parties, My Barren, Loveless Life.”
Go here to read the rest.
Moloch is a jealous god who only takes and never gives.
Even if I couldn’t read what was on her sign, her dead eyes would have given it away.
Her eyes are void of Hope, Faith and Love. Agape love.
The empowerment of women doesn’t come in the form of a license to kill.
It comes in the form of a covenant with God.
I am praying for her, going to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass late today with my Karen to pray for this young lady, specifically. Let us all pray for her and for everyone who is pro-death. Ora pro nobis, peccatoribus. Dear Mother Mary, mother this child. Guy, Texas
Two Interesting Takes:
1 – “You’re dumber than a rock” if you think it’s real.
(In other words, the sign content is so idiotic, it has
to have been made by Photoshop {and here’s my own Photoshop
fake to prove it}. This would be a prime example of
“Accuse others of what you are doing”).

2 – “I just don’t think that we have to have to use shock value
to get people’s attention about having rights on your own body.”
(This, allegedly, is from the sign carrier herself, who
“had an abortion at 18 and says it saved her life” {Her
baby? Not so much}. “I am someone who couldn’t afford
a child,” she said. “I have a lot of health issues and
it wouldn’t have been safe for me to have a child.”
{Fortunately, she is alive to tell her tale while safely masked.}
This comes from the Twitter feed of Ximena Conde of
“The Philadelphia Inquirer” and likely the original source
of the photo.)

I don’t think that sign is real.
I find it telling, with regard to the state of our culture, how rarely anyone mentions that there is a foolproof way to avoid pregnancy, with no need for drugs or divining fertility cycles. The idea of sexual continence has been eradicated from modern consciousness.
The Church bears a great deal of the responsibility for this, having essentially folded its hand on teaching and enforcing sexual morality issues in the post-Conciliar era. The Church was once a powerful cultural force on these and other matters. Now, nearly no one pays any attention whatsoever to the USCCB, and the diocesan bishop who preaches and teaches actual Church doctrine on morality issues is as rare as water in the desert. Meanwhile, the Pope honors and praises abortionists, homosexualists and population control advocates nearly every chance he gets.
I agree with Guy. We can’t possibly pray too much for the purveyors of the Culture of Death.
