And the Chinese system is the one that so many elites in the West wish to emulate.
Shanghai is China's most-populated city and what's happening there is one of the biggest stories in the world. People are suffering starvation, pets are being put down, stores are getting looted, etc. This civil unrest should be much bigger news.pic.twitter.com/wZTYYNt4VX

“This civil unrest should be much bigger news.”
We’re getting weekly notices from our freight forwarder telling us to expect shipping delays from shipments coming through Shanghai. There’s zero news coverage on Covid lockdown devastation on the citizens. Zero.
In light of what is happening to the 25 million in the city I could not care less about the pets. Hopefully the pets can provide food for the populous.
Vatican Sec of State will offer prayers for the CCP and for all communist Catholics in Shanghai. Yup.
This is what happens to a citizenry lacking a right to bear arms.
Gee, I wonder why there isn’t 24/7 blanket coverage of this attempted genocide? I guess the many millions that they spent to buy off our politicians and media haven’t gone to waste…
Chris Griffen, I get it that animals are of lower importance than people. That’s a fact. However, China’s one child policy has left generations without siblings, children, grandchildren, cousins, etc. The loss of a pet is something that affects those people much more acutely than it would affect me, with eight kids, nine siblings, and dozens of cousins to fall back on for support. The communist government has preemptively taken away their families. Now its policies are killing their pets too? The communists want to punish and stamp out any capacity for love in their subjects.
