The hands [in prayer] and heel of the bronze statue of St. Francis of Assisi facing a large crucifix carved on the church entrance wall and similarly brilliant from people prayerfully [pray for us] touching them going in and out of church. The Church of St, Francis of Assisi [Franciscans] is half a block east of Penn Station [Amtrak, LIRR, numerous subway lines]. The bread line has been open for decades.
