Lunacy to lunacy. There doesn’t seem to be an end to the wacky progression of insanity acceptance syndrome. What next? A troubled teen identifies as a dog. So the public must accept it and project it as being normal? After all we don’t want to offend the dog boy.

This must stop now.

Therapy that doesn’t enable the patient might be a good place to start.

I did tell a 20 something not to long ago that “I self-identify as a black transsexual lesbian”, she looked me straight in the eye and said “you’re not black”.

All of this will be a most interesting dissertation by some PhD candidate at a legitimate university a couple of decades from now.

Am an old sub sailor sex pervert for whom God has been gracious enough to provide a wife who keeps my proclivities firmly in check with a tongue sharper than any two-edge sword. Gotta tell you all, none of us squids on the Old Bone as we affectionately call our sub ever dreamed of this kind of disgusting loathsome filth, and at the time we were filthy with the worst. Even the company for which I work – Neutrons ‘R Us – buys into this insane nonsense, people now using pronouns at the end of their names in emails and on meeting placards. Our international customers in eastern Europe cringe – it’s embarrassing to be considered crazy Americans.

Others have said this many times, here and elsewhere in the Catholic blog world, but it bears repeating: God will NOT be mocked. When the time arrives that He has determined for an end to this disordered nonsense, it will be very ugly for everyone still walking this Earth. I am undecided whether I want to see it “live” or not, though leaning heavily toward “not.”

I’m kind of surprised to see Mark explicitly deny that Catholic dogmas are unchanging. Previously he would always set up his arguments along the lines of “well, teaching never really changed but most people interpreted it incorrectly, and people who state the traditional teaching have the wrong motivations for doing so even if they aren’t strictly speaking wrong.” He even starts that way in the twitter thread by saying that the Church never insisted on killing ALL offenders (as if anyone was fighting for that) and asking his questioner (who had only noted that the death penalty was licit and had been used by the Vatican) why he is “eager for slaughter.”

But then he drops that line almost immediately and talks about “societal evolution” and mocks the very idea that the Church has unchanging truths.
