Remember when a crazed Bernie Bro, James Thomas Hodgkinson, shot up a field of GOP Congressman, almost killing Congressman Steve Scalise? Go here to read about it. If the parties had been reversed we would have heard about it 24-7 while Trump was President and we would still be hearing about it at least weekly. Since it was not helpful to the narrative of the media that political violence comes from the right, it was flushed down the memory hole swiftly.
The media will often devote one day to topics they don’t wan to cover, precisely so that later on they can say “it was a huge story when it happened!” They even say that about the Gosnell trial, even though they did a complete blackout on it for weeks and when they DID report on it they only reported on why the trial made them uncomfortable, not the trial itself.
I remember that even when the Steve Scalise shooting was being reported on many of the reporters basically said “this is shocking, but let’s talk about the Gabby Giffords shootings since that was even worse.”
If you don’t follow the media [that is me] you are uninformed. If you do, you are lied to.
All I need to know is where, when, how, what, how many. I do not need some superannuated adolescent/lying sac of excrement tell me why.
