Stop and think about Cheney. She was born in 1966. Her family decamped to Washington in 1968, when her father landed a job as a congressional aide (which later led to a position on Gerald Ford’s White House staff. It’s possible the family decamped to Wyoming and lived there during 1977 and 1978, while her father was running for Congress. She received a diploma from a high school in NoVa in 1984; IOW, she may have traveled with her father to Wyoming (or not) and visited relatives there. She had her tertiary schooling in Colorado Springs and Chicago (1984-88; 1993-96). Her parents were residents of greater Washington (bar perhaps one interlude) from 1968 to 1995. Her husband was admitted to the DC bar in September 1992; he’s a BigLaw attorney who has held public and private-sector positions ever since. Her whole life has been steeped in Official Washington to a degree that exceeds even Al Gore. It’s doubtful she actually converses with anyone outside of that. Putting her up against Carlson, whose business is broadcasting and who talks to all kinds of people would be an occasion for a flustered women to reveal that her skull is filled with groupthink.
Prayers for Tucker and his family seem like a good idea. What I’m about to say is not hyperbole. The left has a diabolical spirit. All Democrats? Ofcourse not, however this same spirit that took God off of their DNC platform years ago has adopted the sinister, rules for radicals attitude and is forging chains to wrap around every American in their rouse of domestic terrorist.
Tucker needs prayers and someone watching his six. The beast is loose.

She and her husband can sell the vacation property they bought in Jackson Hole and quit pretending they live there. Another thing that bothers me about the Cheney / Perry clan is that they had the dough to hold two homes worth $4 million and pay $90,000 in private school tuition each year (while living in a handsome section of Fairfax County, Va.). That’s fine if you operate a productive business. When the legal profession gets that lucrative something is amiss in your political economy.
