When freedom of speech is infringed upon in favor of some approved message by the Tech Lords and the current regime in Washington, the free marketplace of ideas is replaced by  a public square in which raw force is used to drive out dissenting opinions.  This is the path to a stifling society in which only one set of ideas on important matters is tolerated, planting the seeds of inevitable violent reaction to this state of affairs.  In our time we are in the process of resurrecting the bad old days thought, by the terminally naive, to be banished forever with the victory of the West in the Cold War.  God hates human hubris and our tale today is as old as the story of the Tower of Babel.
