I remember that day.
One of my co-workers was a lovely, newly-wed young Catholic woman from Boston. Her husband worked in one of the Towers.
We were relatively safe in our office watching on desk tops what was happening a few blocks away.
She went there to be with him. [The dog that I am, I gently tried to persuade her to stay where she was safe.]
Thank God, she and her husband lived.
Also, I recently provided testimony for a former co-worker who passed away. His daughter is attempting to place a claim with the 9/11 Victims Compensation.
