A moderate Taliban is a member of the Taliban who is out of ammunition and his enemies have plenty. The Taliban do have quite a few factions, but to use the terms “moderate” and “conservative” for these factions merely indicate that the commentators have no clue. It is akin to taking about a “moderate” member of the SS and a “conservative member” of the SS circa 1938.
