PopeWatch: Expertise

The Pope has the same expertise regarding vaccines that PopeWatch has regarding sentient life in the Andromeda galaxy.

An iron rule of human existence is that the worse people get at doing their jobs, the more time they will spend creating messes in areas that are not part of their jobs.

I feel sorry for the clergy. This man is an evil clown. So, what should their response be to Pope Pharisee? Yeah, that’s tough.

Here’s a good statement on why we should not use any vaccines utilizing aborted cells for any reason:

A murderer’s row of elderly progressives there…and poor Gomez.
Doesn’t matter how much the latter acts the good soldier, his Benedict cooties bar him from the red hat.

Does one ever get the feeling that there is a world level giant pincer movement against sanity about now?

Won’t listen to the ‘bishop of rome’ nor will I follow him. He is a usurper to the See of Peter. He is a puppet of the masonic new world order and a huge scandal and black mark on the already corrupted Church.

Magdalene, I don’t recognize the quote, but I’d guess Luther.

The Pope’s expertise in this field almost equals that of Cardinal Burke.

Wow. Just wow. I misread the name of the page. Perhaps “The Angry American?” Or a better description, “The Angry American Pagans.” Don’t see any Catholic Christian values anywhere on the page and most especially the comments. Definitely not recommending this page to my parishioners and members of my military unit.

Cdl. Burke has been making normative arguments.

Father, some of us can’t close our eyes to clerical corruption like that embodied by the Rev. Maradiaga. He shouldn’t be speaking in public, let alone employed as a high profile advocate. That he is simply reinforces the unseriousness of the pontiff in confronting corruption amongst the clerical brotherhood he favors.

Cardinal Burke as a of a few days ago was on a ventilator because of COVID. In my neck of the woods we’ve all been praying for his survival for weeks.
When the question is asked on the news, “Why are so many adults refusing to be vaccinated?” , among the many reasons stated the matter of conscience, because some vaccines have connections to aborted babies cells is never mentioned. Even on Fox which has many pro-life commentators that reason has not been noted.

We are too weak asking only that the right of conscience be respected. The Bishop of Rome is objectively wrong. He affirms that taking the “Covid vaccine” is a good act and is an act of love.

For an act to be good it must be good in all its parts. The object, the end and the circumstances must all be good.

The object or act in itself is the receiving of what is vulgarly called a vaccine but in reality is a genetic experimental treatment that has never been done before. This treatment was developed in all most every case using tissues taken from a living baby before killing it. As such it would be at least the remote indirect participation in an evil act. (The CDF thinks that this permissible in times of a grave crisis. With the caveat that Christians should oppose such experiments and research. )

But it is more than that, it is the direct participation in evil by supporting economically an industry that gets rich off of dead babies. My opposition to car theft sound hollow if I go to the junk yard that I know gets parts from chop shops to get parts for my car. I have a moral opposition until I can get a benefit from a collateral effect of the immoral act.

Thinking men of good will who do not have their intellects darkened by fear and vice see this.

The end which in this case is the prolongation of life in this world is good only insofar as it keeps in mind the eternal good. If the extension of life is used to help the salvation of others or for doing penance and prayer for one’s own sins it may be justified if taking the vaccine were only a remote indirect participation in evil. But it is worse than that. It is the direct participation in evil by paying for a product of an evil industry. It is like buying Playboy® merchandise. It may not be the active consuming of pornography but it supports the porn industry.

Plus it is not clear that that the vaccine helps to achieves that temporal end.

The Circumstances also must be good for an act to be good. The world is enveloped in a purported pandemic. It is not clear that that is the situation is as bad as the media and government pretend it is. The fires of panic have been fanned by persons and entities that have vested interests in public hysteria. The numbers don’t add up. What motive is there to take a morally questionable vaccine the is supposed to but not proven to prevent a disease that has a 0.0023 infection fatality rate?

Even a fuzzy thinker might admit that love is not a feeling. To love is to seek the true good for the beloved. The least we can say is that it is not clear that taking the vaccine is good. There for it is also not clear that it is an act of love. But even more can be affirmed. Taking the vaccine is objectively not good and is objectively not an act of love.

“This treatment was developed in all most every case using tissues taken from a living baby before killing it.”

I don’t think that’s true. First of all, I don’t see any evidence that the tissue in consideration was extracted from a living baby. Beyond that, the tissue involved (at least for the Phizer and Moderna vaccines) is derived from the kidney of an unborn child from the Netherlands who died as a result of an abortion or a miscarriage in 1973. So it’s possible there are no moral issues in the use of that cell line. No unborn children are killed for the creation of any vaccine that I’ve heard about, and no fetal cells are used in the production of the Phizer or Moderna vaccines.

I’m no expert on this subject, and I’ve seen a bunch of internet comments on it that go both ways. Indeed, I’m guilty of being another semi-ignorant commenter by making this comment. I haven’t seen any clear evidence that your statement is correct though. If you have a link to some proof, please provide it.

CAG, thanks for the links. Horrific articles, and I can’t say I read every word. We (that is, the world) need to have a serious conversation about medical ethics, and probably the last people anyone should invite are the current crop of medical ethicists.

Nevertheless, the articles didn’t prove any of my statements wrong. I don’t see any sign that the Phizer or Moderna vaccines used any fetal tissue lines obtained since 1973. Maybe this is the sentence of Ignacio that I should have zoomed in on: “But it is more than that, it is the direct participation in evil by supporting economically an industry that gets rich off of dead babies.” That’s too much of a stretch to me. It’s not like Planned Parenthood or th like are making money anywhere along the way in these two companies’ vaccine research, development, production. or manufacturing.

I always thought that cells taken from the kidneys of the unborn girl in or around 1971 had to have been taken while she was still alive after being aborted. I believe dead cells cannot be used to develop cell lines and reanimation of dead cells is not possible.

That is correct, Bob. Per the articles (and linked source material) the children were delivered vis cesarean section and dissected alive. The cause of death was having their organs removed.
I say “children”, not “child” because many attempts were made before a viable organ was obtained.: HEK 293 Human Embryonic Kidney, the 293rd attempt.
Just the other day, the University of Pittsburg was bragging about wanting to be a “distribution hub” for this vampiristic frankenscience:

You’re right Pinky … “medical ethics” is becoming an oxymoron

Not every clergy member believes Francis is the Pope and has the authority to tell us anything. True Christians are going to burying the dead real soon.

The Vatican might consider finding a different ad group to work with next time, as this edit of the video seems to cut out before the part at the end where the prelates make clear that they are not endorsing the use of cell lines derived from abortion for these vaccines, as well as the part where they advocate for the production, approval, etc., of ethical vaccines that don’t create problems of conscience for those who will be vaccinated…

Maybe that part is in the director’s cut?
