Thought For the Day

Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Sigh, how soon before “white folks” will have to wear the required official yellow tattoo? (Hopefully it’ll be a cross) The speed at which they are closing this Marxism deal tells me–sooner than any of us think.
That this man was promoted within the ranks for 22 years to the point that he was the senior civil servant in the agency is an indicator that its whole institutional culture is rotten. Blow it up.
There are no Catholic institutions this side of Christendom. (Did you catch how the Dominicans at Providence College harassed Anthony Esolen to such a degree that when he got an offer from a small school in New Hampshire, he hit the road? The Church has very few publishing scholars who can and do speak to the general public with a distinctly Catholic perspective, and they made it clear they held him in contempt). There are Catholic heritage institutions that the religious orders lacked the manpower to staff (and lacked the interest in maintaining w/o regard to what the staffing situation has been).
Did you catch this?

I don’t think any of our relatives will report me to Homeland Security. I’ve pretty much lost respect for the lot of them as civic actors. The only one who has noticed any of this is my Bernie Bro cousin in Alliance, Ohio.
I would love it if someone reported me for the blog. The ensuing litigation would be a joy to behold. Leftist regimes are ever based on stoolies, snitches and the midnight battering at the door.
We live in a time of universal deceit.
Chinese Joe’s CCP handlers simply are channeling their official angst over the CCP’s most dangerous enemies: The Chinese people.
Not to worry HS and TSA are far too overworked babysitting unaccompanied minors at the border.
Come on man . . .
The one son and his crazy wife that [remotely] might do that are persona non grata and about to be disinherited. Their share goes to the Church.
The oligarchy is consistent. Two weeks ago when the four-foot-eleven, 73 year old wife traveled by airplane [I refuse], TSA agents patted her down and interrogated her.
Meanwhile, 150 million China virus-infected terrorists are crossing the Rio Grande each day.
Sadly, through their behavior, the current hierarchy and institutions of the Catholic Church often provide aid and assistance to the forces of anti-Catholicism. Colleges and universities appear to have become bastions of totalitarian thought and practice. They have more in common with the CCP than they do with the U.S. Constitution.
USD is a Diocedan university. Don’t expect our Bishop to stop this.
The way to deal with snitch lines is to abuse the ambiguity of the language to report the actions of the establishment and their allies. They are unlikely to actually punish themselves, though if they end up doing so it’s a bonus. Instead the purpose of this tactic is to tie up their resources. At minimum they have to filter out all the “undesired” reporting, but if you report enough organizations they won’t realize at first that some of them are on the same side as them, and waste their time with investigating their friends. The end goal is to make the amount of effort needed to find useful snitches among the noise you are putting out so great that they give up on the snitch line.
“TSA agents patted her down and interrogated her.” The insanity on this one began after September 11. We travelled to the US with a 2 year old back in 2010. The serving I received from an officer for leaving a small amount of water in my daughters bottle before boarding a flight was unpleasant to say the least. The officer was female, of colour and rougher than guts. I know It’s not PC to mention this, but for many reasons it matters (Obama was President at the time)… I also witnessed a young, white father forced to remove his 6 month old sons pre-walker shoes before going through security.
I don’t think these officers have a brain cell between them and are more akin to nightclub bouncers than trained security personnel.
