Grrrr. I wish there was a thing called karma with these two
Ezabelle, I know you mean in this world, but as we know, their karma moment will be when they stand before our Lord. Since I’m reasonably sure they don’t believe that will actually ever happen, the likelihood of them undergoing repentance and conversion of heart seems small, but let’s pray for that result anyway.
Frank, agree about prayers for conversions of these two and for Biden and Pope Francis. But in keeping with Ezabelle’ s karma also wish for a lightening bolt a la conversion of St Paul.
In the case of those liberal Democrat heretical clerics, 1st John 5:16-17 applies:
16 If any one sees his brother committing what is not a mortal sin, he will ask, and God will give him life for those whose sin is not mortal. There is sin which is mortal; I do not say that one is to pray for that. 17 All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which is not mortal.
I pray that somehow by some miracle God deposes and anathematizes them and their Pope, and that they spend the remainder of their natural lives in sackcloth and ashes in one of the 20 monestaries on Mount Athos or similar isolated place.

Pelosi’s belief that she can do anything she wants reminds me of a certain King of antiquity and his authority to trump that of Holy Catholic church.

It might give a person hope to know this little story – The Premiere of the State of Victoria, Daniel Andrews (he also classified himself as a Catholic), who was behind Cardinal Pell’s witch hunt a few years ago is currently too ill to run the State.
He has a long history of decision making that has damaged the State he leads and the lives of those who reside there:
He locked down the entire State of Victoria for months on end, in 2020, over his own governments mishandling and consequent cover up of quarantining return travellers to Australia. He also spent those months lying to the public and shifting blame to protect himself. The lockdowns destroyed many businesses and livelihoods. And ironically it’s the Unions who keep him in power.
He was also selling off the state to Chinese interests- contrary to the Prime Minister who has currently blocked any Chinese investment into Australia. He was dubbed Chairman Dan by the Australian public, as a nod to Chairman Mao, and because of his leadership style.
But…and this is a hopeful but…at the beginning of March this year he slipped and fell on some wet stairs at his own home and is currently unable to fulfil his duties as Premier until he recovers. And the road to his recovery is loooooooong. God has a way of stopping those who have this insatiable thirst for Power which destroys everything around them. Especially when the situation calls for it. I recall being stunned by the news of his accident (and not wishing harm him or ill-health). But God knew he needed to be stopped. Who knows if his current situation has resonated with him, as he has plenty of time on his hands to contemplate this.
