Something I’ve seen floated about in the last week or so is that the Church never officially excommunicated Hitler, and yet those conservatives who said that was the right thing to do are now going after Biden.
I think they would have a hard time finding contemporary conservatives having ventured an opinion one way or another. Hitler of course was an agnostic or atheist by the time he attained power, and barely concealed his contempt for the Church. The Church had no power over him personally. Excommunicating him would have made as much sense as excommunicating Joe Stalin. Biden on the other hand attends Mass regularly and his sycophants attempt to portray him as a devout Catholic.

You can hardly hear Romney for all the boo-ing. You almost feel sorry for him.
If the Bishops we have today were of Hitler’s time and Hitler were a catholic exterminating Jews, they’d find some argument to not bar him from communion for “pastoral” reasons, while accepting governments funds.
